Balloon Buster

The apparatus consists of a cabinet 10 inches by 5 inches square, just bouncing with decoration.  The cabinet is open at the top, front, and rear and may be examined.  A Spectator inflates a balloon and it is placed in the cabinet.   Magi smashes it with the block of wood, and claims a RABBIT WILL APPEAR INSIDE OF THE BALLOON! Nothing has apparently happened.  He then reaches into the cabinet and brings out a flat rabbit.  Try it again.  This time as the balloon breaks, a live dove appears, as if it was INSIDE THE BALLOON!  An absolutely visible change and, don't forget, the cabinet was examined.  Work it on any table or even in your hands.  Scores of effects are possible.  Balloon to silk, balloon to candy or glass of liquid, or anything else that is about the size of the cabinet.  Operate everything close up and surrounded.  Entirely mechanical.  No hanging bags.   This method is a new idea!

Bunny Box

Long off the market and now back better than ever.   Here is the best bunny factory to come along since the top hat.  A slate is shown and a rabbit or other animal is sketched on it with chalk.  A boy holds the box while the picture is inserted in a slot at the very rear of the box.  The boy opens the front door of the box to show the picture-perfect deception at this point!  The box is closed and in a few seconds, the Magi takes a peek thru the top door to see if anything has happened yet.

That peek does all the dirty work and is the only time Magi even touches the box.  When the boy opens the box the NEXT TIME, there is Mr. Bunny as big as you please!

Silk Cabby Box

This attractive wooden cabinet is decorated in bright blue and red.  Craftsmanship at its finest.  There are many magical uses and variations possible with this handy prop.  The vanishing, production and changing of silks, or streamers is a snap.  Use it for Blendo, Mis-Made Flag, or 20th Century Silks.  The two side doors are freely shown to drop open, with full Spectator view thru the cabinet.  The doors are closed, and a white silk is pushed thru one hole at either end of the box.  Spectators see the silk filling the cabinet believing it to exit the opposite hole.  It seems the silk is visibly changing color, as another color silk is pulled out instead.  Both doors are dropped as the interior is shown completely empty.

The workings are entirely self-contained.  This apparatus is indispensable for any type of act.

Candle Thru Arm

A nicely decorated cylinder is pushed over a Spectator's arm or your own for that matter.   Next a loooong lighted candle is pushed thru the center of the cylinder.  It goes apparently thru the hapless victim's arm.  UGH!  This looks very weird.   As it is slowly pushed thru, the flame goes out of sight then emerges from the other side STILL LIT!

A truly beautiful and colorful effect and completely baffling.

Aluminum Clatter Box

Magi requests that a Spectator assist.  He removes a silk from a metal box and entrusts the care of the box to the Spectator.   Naturally, the victim is told that the box has been in the family for generations.   DON'T LET ANYTHING HAPPEN TO IT!  Silk is vanished.  Spectator is told silk is in box.  "Please open the antique box".  BOX FALLS TO THE FLOOR IN A TRILLION PIECES.  End of Spectator's life.

Firehouse Frenzy

Firehouse #3 just had a litter of Dalmatian puppies delivered and Fireman Dan has his hands full.  This looks like more dogs than Fireman Dan can handle.  In fact, one gets away.  Dan frantically searches for the lost puppy which always seems to be one step ahead of both Fireman Dan and the Magi, but not the audience.  They see the lost puppy as it wanders from Firehouse #3 to Firehouse #7.

The lost puppy eludes Fireman Dan and the Magi once again by running back to Firehouse #3.  Catching up to the little lost one, Fireman Dan is able to trap him and corner him in Firehouse #7.  Puppy peeks out from the side of Firehouse #7, and with help from the audience, both Fireman Dan and the Magi are able to catch the elusive one.  Fireman Dan is then shown to be holding only ONE puppy!

Nest Of Clocks

Zombie Floating Ball

A highly polished metal ball rests on a pedestal.   Magi covers the ball with a foulard.  The ball immediately begins to RISE IN THE AIR!  Magi holds the foulard between his outstretched hands, with the ball covered.  The ball rises higher in the air carrying the foulard with it.  The ball is seen to move slowly under the foulard and eventually floats up into full view.   Again it returns under the foulard, and floats back to the pedestal.

Black & White Surprise

In one hand the Magi has a white brass chip, the other hand a black one.  Both hands are closed and reopened and the chips have change places.    The Spectator is convinced the chips are white on one side and black on the other.   The Magi shows both chip sides again.  Now, one is GREEN & YELLOW, the other chip is RED & BLUE.
